Our Adventures at Century Link Field

by

Have you ever been so excited for something that you can’t sleep the night before?  That was exactly how all of us felt on Thursday night, September 15th!  It was the night before we were hired to go to Century Link Field where they were showing Frozen, the sing-a-long version!  Their event staff had told us that Paul Allen wanted it to be big and fun, so they wanted 6 of our characters in attendance to hang out with and entertain guests before the movie started!  So since “Paul” wanted it to be big and fun, of course they picked our classic characters to attend; The Ice Sisters, Cinderella, Beauty, Rapunzel and Tinkerbell.

Being that all of us are HUGE Seahawks fans, we were over the moon that we were going to be in a Red Zone Suite to get ready before the event!  There was a Sounders game the next day, so the stadium had been turned over to the Sounders field, but when the event staff asked us if we would want to go out on the “50 yard line” to take photos, we tried to contain our squeals and replied with a sure, that would be GREAT!  EEEKKKK!!!   Five hundred thousand photos on the field later, we were escorted to the front of the stadium where we greeted guests, danced, played games and took photos!  The Mariners also had a game that night, so many people saw us and came in to mingle and take photos!  The event staff told us that Paul Allen wanted to have Century Link opened to guests like it is a park, so people can come in and enjoy it all the time.  Often times they have the gates open and a Pro Shop pop up shop with food, beer, outdoor games and chairs available for people to enjoy!

The movie was FREE to everyone because the Seahawks had bought all of the seats and were donating all of the money to the charity of choice. When it was 7pm, the movie was starting so we escorted everyone to the end zone seats where they were going to watch the movie on the big screen!  We ended up surprising them when ‘Let It Go’ came on by having the Ice Queen come out on to the field to sing with everyone and then all of the characters came out and sang!  After that, we retired to our Red Zone Suite, put on our Seahawks jerseys and took some photos!

All in all it was an amazing experience and we are so thankful that the organization chose us!  Go Hawks….and Go Sounders!
